Joel Osborn b. 1780 d. 1824, was the son of Medad Osborn b. 1753 d. 1814 and Rachel Hotchkiss Osborn b. 1754 d. 1828. His children were Curtis Edwin Osborn b. 1809 d. 1833, Robert Hitchcock Osborn b. 1810 d. 1882, Charles Hotchkiss Osborn b. 1812 d. 1867, Lewis M. Osborn b. 1614 d. 1820, Catherine Osborn b. 1816 d. 1898, and John Joel Osborn b. 1817 d. 1887. The families of some of his children are are also documented and buried at Grove Street Cemetery.
